The judges in their assessment of the finalists were delighted that
the standard seemed to be getting better every year and it was
becoming increasingly hard to separate the best entries. The
St Marys project was considered to be faultless in design and a
worthy overall winner for the Calder Leadwork Awards 2004.
The judges commented that the winning categories selected from a
wide range of entrants were all members of the Lead Contractors
Association.
The judges would recommend to all competent leadworkers, who are
proud of the work that they do, that they should consider
membership of this specialist
