In 2003 the sheet lead operation relocated to a new purpose built factory with the very latest and most efficient lead sheet production plant known in Europe. Our product range of lead sheet is produced to BSEN 12588 which ensures that the material is produced to stringent material and dimensional tolerances. This gives the fixer the comfort that correctly specified and fitted lead sheet will last beyond other materials used in the buildings construction.

When the manufacturing of lead sheet relocated to Chester from Newcastle
upon Tyne, the Calder lead sheet sales team did not leave the North East.
The experienced and well-respected sales team remain on Tyneside and are
based in custom built offices in Gateshead.  This ensures that the
continuity for customers and the wealth of knowledge and experience of our
team, that has become expected of Calder, still remains.
